No Compromise on What?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for April 28, 2008:
I refuse to compromise on NOT giving in to, or acting like, the status quo mentality. Yes, I can have compassion for and patience with them but this does not mean that I need to rationalize their behavior and pretend that I am as ill-informed and/or as naive as they are. Yes, some people will think that I am being mean for saying this but I am not on GAIA.com to associate with people who simply do not know any better. Yes, some people will have a better way of expressing this concept than myself but running away from blatent expressions of the truth is what got us in the situation that we are in where there appears to be an illegitimate government, a global lack of food, an un-necessary war, non-integral presentation of the news (out-right lies), etc.

i do like a lot of things i hear about barack, but am grateful to be a canadian and not to have to choose between him and hillary. don't like everything about hillary, but it would be a sore temptation to try to get a woman elected to the office.

Even though they both deny it vehemently I think that they are setting up a Presidential ticket with BOTH their names on it, how could they not? If Clinton does not do what Barack is talking about, or at least the WAY that he is talking about it, then she may get assassinated but she would still be the first woman in one of the two highest positions in the land. The “IT” in this case is “Solution-Oriented Dialogue” or “The Purple Dialogue” as I heard mentioned recently.
i think it's the only way too but i didn't know that it was an open secret that it is in the works. it will be interesting, then!
