This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for April 29, 2008:
What can you do, or what is the best way, to elicit what is most brilliant in others? How do you support and encourage people?
I do it by informing people that the reason that genius is genius is because it has to do with what is NOT in most other people. In other words, genius is unique. Genius tends to have a language that most other people do not understand. Therefore, what ever is the most different about a particular person is most likely an aspect of that person's genius. So I support people in expressing whatever they think is different or unique about themselves that they think might have something to do with wisdom or a better way to do things from their perspective.
This is yet another reason that I support and will be voting for Barack Obama for President of the United States of America. For me he speaks of hope and empowerment of people who want to help bring about a better USA.
