What Is "Normal"?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for March 09, 2008:
The word normal actually means, "that which is the average person's experience" or the status quo experience, the experience of most people. However, in most people's minds the word normal tends to mean, "the way that things should be." Therefore, most people tend to not be aware of how things actually are. Normal for most people is then effectively a fiction or a theatrical production on the world's stage which most people do not realize that they are playing a part in, don't know the greater plot of, and are being herded around like relatively mindless sheep like in the movies, "The Game" and "The Truman Show."
Most people think that it is normal to die before the age of 100 and therefore do not pay very close attention to the long-term subtleties of either their physical or mental health. It is normal for most people's bodies to begin falling apart around the age of 50 so most people simply put up with minor discomforts until they die from easily correctable issues like simply maintaining a healthy liver which will self-correct most ailments.
So, normal for me is what most people would consider miraculous yet what I personally and literally experience on a day-to-day basis.

…hmmmmm
How old are you?
:)
Would I not need to be over 50 years of age in order to make the above observation? I hereby confirm such a fact.
i found the truman show very thought provoking…
I see you are busy re-creating the norm of normal, just like me ! Normal to me is everything that follows the Law of the Universe–a perfectly oiled energy distributer, watching karma work it's perfection in all our lives, perpetually leading us to the right information at the right moment–evolution that's always right on time.
This said, I'm looking for a good liver cure, any suggestions ? :-D !
liver cure - cook one egg white (separate the yolk)
cut half peach
put half peach on egg white
serve to guest with liver problem
works wonders.
normal is word created to keep us very very unhappy. normal is disneyland word. very good. I will take this qr and use on mouse blog. thank you lah!
The concept of “cure” is flawed. I would suggest instead to perhaps think in terms of “health maintenance” or “liver support” kinds of things. The word cure tends to mean that something is wrong which is not actually the case. Something may be “less than optimal” so perhaps seek to optimize your liver? Health food store types of supplements that contain ingredients such as milk thistle, ginger, blupleuriam, tumeric root, dandelion root, etc. will help “maintain” a healthy liver. If you wait until you NOTICE a problem then it is usually too late or it will take a LONG time to fix it. The key is understanding what optimum health actually is which is NOT “normal”!
Also, lowering your intake of non-fresh vegetable sources of carbohydrates and starches will enable your liver to process fats and “bad” cholesterol-containing foods better. However, you should definitely AVOID transfats that are in most processed food and products that contain the words “propyl” that are usually “ingested” through the skin.
Dr. Jack Tips also has some more indepth information regarding, ”The Healing Triad” which includes the liver, kidney, gall bladder, and colon (two of those count as one “system” but I forgot which two). The pancreas is also in there somewhere. Basically you heal your body by making better food choices. When in doubt simply drink water until you figure it all out. I have done the ”Master Cleanse” (water, FRESH-SQUEEZED lemon juice, cayenne pepper, and raw maple syrup or honey) for 40 days at a time (with Tri-Cleanse fiber) when I found out that my cholesterol was high and I could not figure out where it was coming from! I also had pain or discomfort in weird places so an overall cleanse made sense to me.
I am normal.
But you might not think so. 8-P
And to Ascended Mouseter: are you sure that is for the liver? I put that on my face and eat the egg yolk. Raw.
Amen to you & your distinction. Most of what we consider to be normal is not right, good or Loving. Death, judgment & fear is not normal.
All the Best… Will.
