Economic Structures & Sustainable Living?

Posted on Mar 31st, 2008 by profundity : "Why-er" profundity
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for March 29, 2008:

The ONLY way that I see out of our current global environmental and catastrophic climate change crisis is for the International Monetary Fund (IMF)/World Bank/Federal Bank (I personally claim that they are all one and the same here-in-after referred to as THE BANK) to bring into existence and devote unlimited funds for the specific purpose of both cleaning up/remediating the environment AND bringing effective environmentally conscious technology into the marketplace no matter what the financial cost.  Since the THE BANK brings into existence money to insure economic stability why the heck to they NOT devote money for essential life-sustaining purposes?!

I also suggest that a voluntary monk-like (though non-religious) aspect of society (cast?) be allowed to exist where those people are devoted SOLELY to the enrichment and nurturing of the environment and the rest of society and do not work for profit but rather only have all of their essential needs of food, clothing, and shelter be taken care of for providing that type of service.   I would personally volunteer to be a part of such a cast so please don't say that no one would be stupid enough to do it.  ;o)

In my opinion, the world will not survive without such an arrangement.
