What question made the biggest impact on your life?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for December 16, 2008:
What is truth? Or, what is the nature of truth? Do I really want to know the truth if that meant that I would no longer want to live? I've always wanted to know the truth regardless of its potential impact on my life. That process led me to the realization that truth was relative. I also learned about the nature of relativity itself. What was true for one person was not necessarily true for someone else. No one could force their idea of what truth was on me as I, myself, am the final arbiter of what is true for me.
Is there a God? Is the nature of God relative? Is a truthful statement about God even possible given the personal nature of each individual person's relationship to what ever concept of God that they have?
