What bridge would you like to build in your life?

Posted on Nov 4th, 2008 by profundity : "Why-er" profundity
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 04, 2008:

I would like to build a bridge between insanity and lucidity, two dynamics of a similar perceptual framework.  The average person does not realize that the reason that they are average is because they do not know what geniuses know ... that the average person is effectively insane and incapable of understanding the complexities that are necesary to be aware of in order to see true reality.  Otherwise why would SOOO many people actually consider voting for someone like McCain?  Because they are effectively insane.  For that matter anyone who thinks that a vote actually has ANY effect upon their lives is also effectively insane.  Anyone who thinks that laws have any meaning to the people who print or otherwise bring new money into existence is effectively insane.

On the other hand, the lucid people who understand all this are considered to be insane by the average person so how do we build a bridge between these two dynamics of insanity?  By doing what I am doing now by understanding the concepts of Spiral Dynamics Integral (SDi) and by participating in Integral Dialogue to elucidate the darkness and allow the blind to truly see.

How can you create more joy around you?

Posted on Nov 7th, 2008 by profundity : "Why-er" profundity
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 07, 2008:

Joy is about differentiation, differentiating between things that are less-than and things that are more-than.  A wise person can bring joy to the less-wise by pointing out the subtle differences between useful things and less-useful things.  The more useful a thing is the more happy we are about it.  There is the appearance that President Bush did zero for the American people themselves and was effectively useless as far as most people are concerned and therefore created zero joy.  President-Elect Barack Obama created hope in the form of eloquently expressing actual viable solutions and was therefore VERY useful and created LOTS of joy.  I create joy around me by helping people see the positive as well as profound aspects of relationships as well as differentiating between what they are noticing or not noticing about their computers and websites which brings nothing but joy and happiness.

How do you comfort those who are sad?

Posted on Nov 13th, 2008 by profundity : "Why-er" profundity
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 13, 2008:

Is not being sad simply a matter of having a question?  Having an unanswered aspect of our lives?  Do not tears represent our longing for filling in the dark unenlightened spaces of our existence?

I comfort those who are sad by helping to inspire their insight to answer their most pressing questions about why people get hurt or die, why our loved ones sometimes seek comfort in the hearts and beds of someone other than their own partners, where the opportunity lays in being let go from a job, why a fascist corporate dictatorship is inevitable on some level, how the most powerful singular person on Earth could actually be the most peaceful one, etc.

It seems to me to all come down to unanswered questions and by assisting people to "fill in the blank areas" that we are able to focus upon that which is truly important and of greater priority in our lives to achieve optimal fulfillment.

Where are you on your spiritual path?

Posted on Nov 23rd, 2008 by profundity : "Why-er" profundity
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 23, 2008:

I appear to be at a point on my spiritual path where it is no longer obvious how much further up the mountain there is to go for me.  My past experience tells me that I am continually climbing but my guidance appears to be more ephemeral or in-the-moment.  It is as if I am confidently moving forward in the dark unafraid of potential pitfalls.  I tend to relish the brief moments of absolute clarity and the presence of friends and acquaintances who appear to have a clue.  Every day the great illusion appears to become ever more obvious to me as I allow my patience and compassion to grow stronger though in reality I know that it is simply a matter of being less and less attached to how I think that other people should be and understanding the challenges that they face as they navigate their own way through the minefields of humanity.
